This. In my inbox. From Urban Dictionary.

too posh to push: Prospective mothers who opt to have an elective caesarean section rather than give birth vaginally. The women who make this choice are usually thought to be of higher class and wealthier. The choice for a c-section is made because it's thought to be more convenient as well as less painful and distasteful.

I understand many women need C-Sections. But this is S-T-U-P-I-D. Seriously.

Wow...that's ridiculous. My sister-in-law's natural birth went great! My brother said she tore, but that was the only thing that happened. They live in North Carolina and used a midwife that works with a doctor, and the building you give birth in is attached to the hospital. It worked really well for them since they had an uncomplicated pregnancy (I think the midwife won't take you on if there are complications for obvious reasons). I would definitely recommend you checking that out. I don't know how popular this is in Mississippi, but when I was in labor, the woman next door was having a pain medicine free birth, so I know it happens. I wish I could try it next time, but unfortunately my previous c-section and history of pregnancy complications kind of forces me to have a c-section again. I still think the natural birth is a great idea, but then again I'm a hard core believer that natural is the best choice in all areas of life!

I had to have a C-section and actually liked it. The recovery was hard, but I'm glad I'll be able to do it this way from now on. I don't think I'm "too posh to push," I just don't mind having C-sections...
