31 Days to Write True: Busy

We flew into Jackson on Wednesday. Thursday consisted of getting my hair colored, my dress altered, and then driving into the night to get to Baton Rouge by eight thirty for a casual cocktail hour.

Friday and Saturday were full of rehearsal and wedding activities. The kids were such troopers but Annie fell asleep in my lap and Graves's eyes looked downright bloodshot by the time we left the reception.

We got up yesterday and drove back in time to visit with people after church let out (we meant to make the service, but it didn't happen). We had lunch at my favorite Mexican place with friends, regrouped at Peyton's parents', and then went over to some friends' house for dinner and stayed for five hours.

Today we met a friend for breakfast, went directly to spend several afternoon hours at a friends' house, regrouped for a bit and then met friends for dinner and stopped at my parents' to visit for two hours.

Tomorrow is Granny and Ellis and Minda.

It is so good, but so busy.
